Announcements

  • The Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities will be hosting the Second Annual World Congress on Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities on the beautiful island of Saint Lucia from January 27 – January 31, 2026. Please read the flyer for more information. 
  • For those of you presenting at the Firearms Conference this November, emails with the speaker resource center will be sent out shortly, where you will be able to accept your presentation. The new deadline to accept presentations is October 1st. 
  • Applications are now open for the 2026 cohort of the Firearm Injury Prevention Research in Nursing (FIPRN) Scholars Program, hosted by the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Read more about this opportunity here and apply by December 5th.

  • FIPRP has a SharePoint that we are hoping will help facilitate the sharing of resources. We currently have a methods folder which includes resources and guidance on topics like data visualization, qualitative methods, and survey methods among other resources for FIPRP outreach.
