  • Arizona State University’s BRIDGS Initiative: Bringing Research and Innovation into the Debate on Guns in Society invites submissions to the Annual Symposium on February 26 and 27, 2026. Read more about this opportunity here.
  • The Evans School offers a set of core courses in their PhD program in Public Policy and Management that are open to all UW PhD students. PPM 504: Perspectives on Institutions and PPM 506: Advanced Microeconomics for Policy Analysis are being offered in Autumn 2025.

Opportunities

  • The ITHS Pilot Program is now accepting applications for three exciting funding opportunities for translational research: the Early-Stage Product Development Award; the Academic Community Partnerships Award; and the New Interdisciplinary Academic Partnerships Award. Letters of intent are due September 12, 2025 (today!).
  • The Regional Gun Violence Research Consortium is hiring a postdoctoral research fellow! Review of applications begins December 1, and you can read more about this exciting opportunity here.

  • FIPRP has a SharePoint that we are hoping will help facilitate the sharing of resources. We currently have a methods folder which includes resources and guidance on topics like data visualization, qualitative methods, and survey methods among other resources for FIPRP outreach.
