Opportunities

  • The New Jersey Gun Violence Research Center (GVRC) is seeking proposals for research focused on gun violence prevention! Read more about the RFP, and applications can be submitted here. Applications are due September 1st.
  • The Initiative to Bring Research & Innovation into the Debate on Guns in Society (BRIDGS Initiative), housed in the T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics (SSFD) at Arizona State University (ASU), invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position. The application deadline is September 3rd. 
  • The ITHS Pilot Program is now accepting applications for three exciting funding opportunities for translational research: the Early-Stage Product Development Award; the Academic Community Partnerships Award; and the New Interdisciplinary Academic Partnerships Award. Letters of intent are due by September 12, 2025.
  • The Regional Gun Violence Research Consortium is hiring a postdoctoral research fellow! Review of applications begins December 1, and you can read more about this exciting opportunity here.

  • FIPRP has a SharePoint that we are hoping will help facilitate the sharing of resources. We currently have a methods folder which includes resources and guidance on topics like data visualization, qualitative methods, and survey methods among other resources for FIPRP outreach. If you would like access or would like to contribute resources, please email Sam Banks at sbanks94@uw.edu.
