Announcements

  • The Washington State DOH and HIPRC are hosting a virtual Turning Knowledge into Action to Prevent Injury and Violence Summit on July 23rd from 8am-4pm PT. Please see the flyer for more information. 
  • In case you missed it, Dr. Erin Morgan's FIPRP Weekly on May 21st titled "Underground Ministries: Faith-Based Programs for Re-Entry and Redefining Success" was recorded, and can be found here. 
  • Registration for the 2025 Implementation Science in Global Health Summer Institute (August 11-15) has been extended to June 30th! Register here!
  • Earlier this week, the Attorney General’s Office announced the launch of the Washington State Data Exchange for Public Safety. Read more about this new data here.

Opportunities

  • The Centers for Violence Prevention (CVP) at UC Davis invite applications for one or more postdoctoral fellowships in violence prevention research. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through June 15, 2025 or until the position is filled. Read more about the opportunity here.
  • UW is planning to offer post-doctoral training in Pediatric Injury Research, with positions becoming available for summer/fall, 2025. This training program is funded through a US National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) T-32 grant. Applications received by July 1, 2025 will be given the highest priority. Read more here.
