Announcements

  • Congratulations to Cami Rencken, who is defending her dissertation titled "Examining Mental Health and Recovery Following School Shootings.” 
  • The zoom recording and slides from Dr. Kelsey Conrick's Methods Seminar, "Now what?: Moving from Codes to Themes in in Qualitative Analysis" are now on SharePoint. Please reach out to Sam Banks for access. 
  • The West Coast Poverty Center is hosting a Roundtable meeting on February 6th from 9:30-11 am PST. This conversation will begin with presentations from Dr. Phillip Graham (RTI International) and FIPRP members about the current state of research evidence on community violence interventions, followed by a discussion about implications for studying and understanding the impacts of local violence prevention efforts.   • FIPRP has a SharePoint that we are hoping will help facilitate the sharing of resources. We currently have a methods folder which includes resources and guidance on topics like data visualization, qualitative methods, and survey methods among other resources for FIPRP outreach.
