  • The lab that Dr. Elizabeth Weybright works with is looking to hire two research coordinators! Please read more about the opportunity here.
  • The Bureau of Justice Statistics put out a report titled "Trends and Patterns in Firearm Violence, 1993-2023" which includes data on firearm type; incident location; victim and offender demographic characteristics and relationship; injury and treatment type; police notification; and victims’ self-protective behaviors.
  • Congratulations to Dr. Kelsey Conrick, who was awarded a PHI Tier 1 Grant! Read more about her project and the 13 others here.

  • FIPRP has a SharePoint that we are hoping will help facilitate the sharing of resources. We currently have a methods folder which includes resources and guidance on topics like data visualization, qualitative methods, and survey methods among other resources for FIPRP outreach.
