  • The Grandmothers Against Gun Violence Foundation released the recording of their recent event (Gun Violence Prevention: Stopping Intimate Partner Deaths & New GVP Federal Focus) which includes presentations by Dr. Julie Kafka and Julia Schleimer. Click here to watch!
  • Julia Schleimer will present a talk titled "Co-developing Theories of Change for Improved Community-based Violence Intervention Evaluation"  to the University of Colorado later this month! Read more and register for the event here! 
  • BMC Pediatrics is calling for submissions to their collection on the impact of gun violence. Submit by December 31st.
  • As a reminder, SAVIR abstracts are due by October 15th. Please see more details here. 
  • The Health Affairs Scholar announced a call for papers on topics including global aging, intersections of social policies and health, and policy options for the 340B drug discount program. Read more about the journal and submission process here.
