Announcements

  • The Center for Violence Prevention at the University of Texas Health Science Center will be hosting a virtual StandSAFE event on April 3 at 5 PM PT with guest speaker Greg Jackson, Deputy Director of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention at the White House. SAFE is a national non-profit led by physicians, residents, and medical students committed to ensuring that all healthcare providers are equipped with evidence-based knowledge and skills to help their patients, communities, and legislators make informed decisions on safe firearm use and ownership. To register for the free event on April 3, which is open to all, please do so here.
  • If you are going to Chapel Hill for the SAVIR Conference, please contact Erika Marts and Dr. Kelsey Conrick as they are building a list of attendees from our program. Please make sure to send them the title of your presentation and its format (i.e., oral, poster, etc.)
  • We are looking for folks to sign up for WIP slots for Spring Quarter. We currently have open slots starting April 3. If you are interested and available to present for any of these openings, please use this link to sign up.
